I visited Brewood C of E Middle School. I had never been to a Middle School before, but I loved it. The children were very happy and witty (and great cooks – they made me some food in their cookery club after school… I had chicken curry and sweet chilli chicken skewers, yum).
When I spoke to them I told them about my new book, called A Saucer of Milk. But I said I didn’t like the title, and could they think of another? Elliot did, and he also drew this cool draft for a front cover too. I like how he’s used his artistic license and made Prince Alexander turn into a rabbit, not a cat..!
