The Mega Ultra Super Story Writing Competition

There’s a school in Lewisham, London, called Baring Primary School.

And it’s awesome.

Mrs Robinson, who’s in charge of Literacy there, invited me to run a competition.

And not just any competition: a

MEGA

ULTRA

SUPER

STORY WRITING COMPETITION.

So that’s what we did. We asked children from the whole school to enter, and over a hundred did. They created some great stories – but there was one rule – whatever tale they told could only be one side of A4 long.

And the winner was (drumroll please) . . .
